Kobberløpet – the most beautiful ski adventure of spring in Northern Norway.

Starting and finishing at Jakobsbakken, the old mining village 600 metres above sea level, the course takes you through the spectacular mountain landscape of Sulitjelma in Fauske municipality, Nordland – high above the Arctic Circle. With spring sunshine, well-prepared classic tracks and snow-covered peaks in every direction, Kobberløpet offers a ski experience unlike any other on the calendar.

Kobberløpet is part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit and welcomes everyone, from world-class elite skiers to first-time recreational participants. Choose between 42 km, 23 km and 11 km, all in classic technique. At the finish line, the whole mining town turns out to celebrate – Petter Northug has called Kobberløpet the best long-distance race with the best crowd.
