99th edition of Västgötaloppet.

The Västgötaloppet Classic Race 42 km is a traditional long-distance race for elite and competitive skiers.

The race is a qualifying event for the Vasaloppet and is suitable for participants with skiing ability corresponding to Vasaloppet start groups 0–7.

Maximum time limit: Participants in the competition race must have started their last lap before 12:00 as that is the start time for ”Västgötaloppet Classic Motion” race.

Start in star groups at sunday 09:00.

The requested start group is preliminary. The race management will adjust the start groups to ensure they are fair based on previous race results and that each group contains the appropriate number of participants. We primarily use the SkiClassics ranking system to determine the start groups.
